XAVERIAN BROTHERS
Our students in Kipushi, Congo need desks. Can we count on your support?
There are over 230 elementary and secondary students attending Institute Rijken 1 and they desperately need desks and other assorted furniture to enrich their learning experience.
Our Novice Brothers missioned in Congo have dug in and begun the hands on work of building the 270 assorted desks and tables needed for the classrooms. They’ve made tremendous progress but at a cost of $110 per desk/table, funds are running out before they can complete the project.
What a blessing it would be to have the support of friends like you as we strive to meet our goal on Giving Tuesday!
Preparation for Perpetual Profession: On Wednesday, January 15 the Program of Preparation for Perpetual Profession (PPP) 2020 will begin at the Generalate of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in Rome. This year there will be 14 participants: 12 Brothers of the Sacred Heart and 2 Xaverian Brothers.
