As we begin Lent with Ash Wednesday,
we want to reflect upon the words in the Fundamental Principles, which says that we are to “share the love of God with the world through our own giftedness” by giving of ourselves through service as we draw closer to the heart of Jesus.
Beginning Ash Wednesday we will post a Word of the Day that will encompass a scripture passage, description and a short prayer, which will “reveal the mysterious ways of God” in our mission. Each post will be archived on this web page below. Over the next 40 days of Lent, we invite you to take some time to reflect on these specific words, and pray with us for the unique mission of the Xaverian Brothers. We turn to God in gratitude for the many ways our mission “manifests God’s care and compassionate love” to our neighbors, near and far. We hope you will dwell upon these words and share the posts with your social media friends.
